What is BarcaFutbol
About BarcaFutbol
This is a newsletter/blog where I write about Barca and football. There is no fixed quantity, cadence., mission or vision. I am generally lazy unless required otherwise. So I keep it simple. I write when I feel like.
There are long periods of silence when I get bored (which is often) because let’s be honest, most people in the world have better things to do than read another newsletter.
What makes me qualified to write about Barca?
Absolutely nothing. I just like the club, its history and the way it plays football. I have visited Camp Nou a few times. That noise. It’s nice. I like it.
That said many clubs play good football, so there is no reason why I chose Barca over the rest. I just did . There is no logic to this. In fact it’s completely illogical.
Now I just watch them play from my sofa over the weekends. and write whatever I feel like. With match-days on weekends, UCL on Tuesdays, Europa on Thursdays it is an exhausting assembly line of games week in week out! 😄
Who am I ?
By night I am deep in python, json, React and research. You can read my research work on Notes by Dev . In my day job I do product and GTM for Google. My claim to fame in football was playing for various neighbourhood and school all star teams between the ages of 6-23 when I decided to retire :)
I have been watching Barca for decades.
Cheers,
Dev
